An attorney and a cofounder of the Chicago-based Fund Finance Partners, LLC, Zac Barnett began his career as a lawyer after graduating from Northwestern University School of Law.

A private law school in Chicago, Northwestern Law organizes multiple forums to promote a scholarly exchange of ideas inside the Northwestern community and with representatives of other law schools. One of these programs is the Colloquium Series, which invites visiting scholars to the law school to discuss cutting-edge research in law and related disciplines with faculty members and students. The varying themes in the Colloquium Series include Advanced Topics in Taxation, Constitutional Law, Environmental Law, and Public Law.

In addition to the Colloquium Series, Northwestern Law features a Faculty Workshop series, which holds meetings every week throughout the academic year. During the workshops, prominent scholars present articles or books they’ve authored on various legal topics and research methodologies to Northwestern Law faculty members for feedback.
